Ticket sales open for 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup in India, Sri Lanka

Dubai, 4 September 2025:

Tickets for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup went on sale Thursday, less than a month before the tournament begins Sept. 30 in Guwahati, India.

The International Cricket Council said tickets for all group matches in India and Sri Lanka will be available through a pre-sale window until Sept. 8 on tickets.cricketworldcup.com, exclusively via the Google Pay platform. The second phase of sales will start Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. IST and SLST (2:30 p.m. GMT).

Prices begin at 100 Indian rupees (about $1.14), which the ICC said is the lowest starting price in the history of any of its global events.

Eight teams — India, Sri Lanka, England, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand and Bangladesh — will compete across five venues: Colombo, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam and Navi Mumbai. India will face Sri Lanka in the opener, and the final is scheduled for Nov. 2 at a venue yet to be confirmed.

The ICC last week announced a landmark women’s-only global partnership with Google, which will include fan engagement initiatives during the event.

The total prize money is set at $13.88 million, nearly four times the $3.5 million awarded at the 2022 edition in New Zealand.

Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform at the opening ceremony in Guwahati, where she will also debut the official tournament anthem, Bring It Home.
