Indian fan zones sell out 50 days before Australia-India series

Melbourne, 30 August 2025:

Cricket Australia said Friday that Indian fan zones at all eight venues for the upcoming men’s limited-overs series against India have sold out, 50 days before the first match.

Public tickets for the Sydney and Canberra games are also gone, reflecting what CA called “extraordinary demand” for one of the summer’s most anticipated contests. All three ODIs and five T20Is will feature packed Indian sections, underscoring the growing support for the touring side.

“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response,” said Joel Morrison, Cricket Australia’s executive general manager of events and operations. “We’re looking forward to a vibrant atmosphere in the stands and a world-class contest on the field between two great cricketing nations.”

The ODI series begins Oct. 19 in Perth, followed by matches in Adelaide and Sydney. The five T20Is will be staged in Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast and Brisbane.

The series will be broadcast in Australia on Foxtel and Kayo Sports, with radio coverage on ABC, Triple M and SEN.
