Sylhet, 3 September 2025:
Litton Das struck 73 off 46 balls but rain forced the abandonment of the third T20 international between Bangladesh and the Netherlands on Wednesday, giving the hosts a 2-0 series win.
Bangladesh posted 164-4 in 18.2 overs in an innings disrupted by multiple stoppages. Litton gave the innings early impetus with a flurry of boundaries, racing to 42 off 16 balls before the first rain delay. He slowed after play resumed but still anchored the innings before falling in the 15th over.
Jaker Ali and Nurul Hasan added late momentum, combining for 42 runs off 23 balls. Nurul finished unbeaten on 22. Netherlands pacer Kyle Klein had an expensive outing, conceding 53 runs in four overs but claimed three wickets.
The Dutch bowlers improved after the initial burst, with Aryan Dutt and Tim Pringle applying pressure in the middle overs. But another downpour ended the contest prematurely, leaving the visitors with the consolation of avoiding a clean sweep.
Bangladesh had already sealed the three-match series after victories in the first two games.
