Dhaka, 5 September 2025:
The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced Saturday that Ireland will arrive on Nov. 6 for a full tour featuring two Tests and three Twenty20 internationals.
The tour will begin with a two-match Test series, starting Nov. 11 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The second Test will be played at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium from Nov. 19-23, with veteran wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim expected to play his 100th Test in that match.
Following the Tests, both teams will move to Chattogram for a three-match T20I series beginning Nov. 24. The first T20I is set for Nov. 27 at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium, followed by games on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2.
Bangladesh last played a Test series in June, losing 1-0 to Sri Lanka. The Tigers are currently leading Afghanistan 2-0 in a T20I series in the United Arab Emirates.
Ireland, meanwhile, defeated Zimbabwe by 63 runs in their most recent Test in February but lost their latest T20I series 2-0 to England in September.
